Our vision is to become a key player in the development of skills and awareness in the maritime sector- by supporting South Africa’s inclusive maritime economic growth initiatives.
The Maritime Industry includes areas such as shipping and transport, marine resources, marine tourism, operational support services, manufacturing, construction and business services. Within each sector are clusters of sectors, each with their own career options. Some of the clusters have Skills Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) that may be able to provide training assistance in the following fields:

I would like to show my gratitude to Marico. I attended Gwelane High in 2019. When Marico came to our school, I discovered Maritime as a career. I became so interested. Now I have a swimming certificate from NSEI when i used to be so uncomfortable in water. I am now sure i will be pursuing a career in maritime.
